Ethical Guidelines
The publication of an article in a peer-reviewed journal of JAIAE forms a vital part of building up a coherent and respected network of knowledge. It is a clear indication of the quality of the work carried out by the authors and by the institutions which support them. Articles that have been subject to peer review support and reflect the scientific method. For this reason, it is necessary to establish standards of expected ethical behaviour for all the parties concerned with the publishing process—namely the authors, the journal editors, the peer reviewers, the publisher and the society. JAIAE takes its responsibilities as guardians of all the stages of publication very seriously and acknowledges its ethical and other obligations. Our commitment is to make sure that any advertising, reprint or other commercial income has no impact or influence on editorial decisions. Moreover, the JAIAE and the Editorial Board will help with communications with other journals and/or publishers when such action is useful and necessary.
