The Journal of Al Interaction & Applied Engineering (JAIAE) is an international journal which employs a peer-review system. All articles submitted to this online journal will be subject to peer review. The purpose of this peer review is to make sure that only quality science is published; it is an objective procedure at the core of proper scholarly publishing and one that is followed by all respected scientific journals. The referees that we use are essential to keeping the high standards of JAIAE, and every manuscript is peer reviewed in accordance with the procedure described below.

Initial manuscript evaluation

The Editor begins by looking at all the manuscripts that are first submitted. Manuscritps that are rejected at this stage are those which lack originality, have serious scientific flaws, have poor grammar, involve plagiarism, or are outside the aims and scope of the journal; manuscripts that meet the minimum requirements are usually sent on to at least two independent experts for review.

Type of Peer Review

JAIAE uses a Double blind review procedure in which the referees stay anonymous throughout the process. The papers are assigned to the referees on the basis of their area of expertise and our database is constantly updated.

Referee reports

The referees are required to assess whether the manuscript is original, whether it is methodologically sound, whether it adheres to the appropriate ethical guidelines, whether its results are clearly presented and support the conclusions, and whether it properly references previous relevant work. Language editing is not included in the peer review process, but referees may do so if they wish to suggest corrections to the manuscript.

Revised Manuscript Submission

Once the editor has received the reports from the reviewers, they assess these reports. If the reports do not indicate 'Reject', then the authors are asked to revise the manuscript. When the revised version is received, if necessary, it may be sent to the same reviewers for their review together with the comments and changes made.

Final report

The author will receive a final decision regarding whether or not to accept the manuscript together with the recommendations of the referees, and might also get the referees' comments exactly as they are.

Editor’s Decision is final

The referees give their advice to the editor, since it is the editor's responsibility to make the final decision on whether or not to accept the article.
