We are committed to making sure that any revenue from advertising, reprints, or other commercial sources has no impact or influence on our editorial decisions. Moreover, JAIAE will help out with communications with other journals and/or publishers whenever this is of use to the editors. Finally, we are working in close cooperation with other publishers and industry associations in order to establish standards for best practices regarding ethical issues, errors, and retractions—and are ready to offer specialized legal review and advice if needed. Since our commitment includes the protection and improvement of the peer review process, JAIAE has a duty to help the scientific community in all matters relating to publishing ethics, in particular in cases of (suspected) duplicate submission or plagiarism.
